I wanted to let you know about a great show, and cd that I am a part of. The local non-profit Music for the City has created a compilation album that includes a number of great artists, including Alpha Rev (Vh1′s current Artist of the Month), Quiet Company, The Soldier Thread, Aaron Ivey, a number of other great artists, and yours truly. Not only is it going to be a great compilation CD, all of the profits are going to benefit Austin Children’s Shelter, and Austin SAFEPLACE.
To celebrate the release of this CD, there will be a huge party at La Zona Rosa on May 8th. All of the artists mentioned above will be performing. Tickets are $15 and can be purchased on the Music for the City website. Once again, all the proceeds are going to benefit the two charities above. Hope you can be there to help us raise money for these great charities that are impacting Austin, TX!
